Panaji, Sep 9 (IANS): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday stated that the creation of the Coaching, Internship and Placement (TIP) cell has an goal to offer jobs to the youth of the coastal state within the industrial sector.
Sawant was talking after inaugurating the TIP cell of the Directorate of Increased Schooling in state capital Panaji.
“The creation of the TIP cell with the tagline ‘Encourage to Aspire’, an initiative underneath New Schooling Coverage by the Directorate of Increased Schooling, has an goal to offer jobs to youth of Goa within the business sector,” he added.
He stated that the Directorate of Increased Schooling from the final three years performed placement drives for B.Sc Laptop Science college students of assorted schools, which resulted in recruiting almost 40 IT college students.
Sawant appreciated the representatives of assorted IT industries for offering employment avenues for IT college students within the state.
