On September 7, Apple will announce the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Or so we thought…

In a surprising news of late, news has broken that Apple will not release the iPhone 14 Max. Instead, the company’s first phone under $1000 will be called the ‘iPhone 14 Plus’. And this makes sense for several reasons.

First, drain the water – and it comes in two parts. The first episode went down on Twitter at the time picture of a seemingly next-gen iPhone case with the ‘iPhone 14 Plus’ logo. This led to further investigation by 9to5Mac, which later confirmed the name and instructions given to third-party litigators.

“Sources familiar with the matter say Apple has chosen to name the next-generation iPhone, the iPhone 14 Plus. Additionally, since at least July, iPhone makers have been told not to use the brand iPhone 14 Max, because it won’t be the actual name of the product,” said José Adorno of 9to5Mac.

And this makes perfect sense because Apple continues to use the ‘Max’ brand to indicate the premium category of something: both the flagship iPhone and the top-end version of Apple’s M1 chipset. Essentially, the ‘Max’ sits above the ‘Pro’ in the M1 range: M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra.

09/05 Update: with the launch of the iPhone 14 just days away, MacRumors It appears that iPhone 14 Pro models are experiencing problems with their new displays all the time.

“[Apple] It is reportedly still experiencing bugs and has been bugging software engineers from various teams, including the Apple Watch, to perfect the always-on display experience before launch,” the source said.

The update cannot be applied to new models before they go on sale, so the source said that Apple will push the update to iOS 16 (either iOS 16.1 or 16.0.1) “immediately after launch”.

On the other hand, MacRumors’ sources say that the always-on display Pro will bring permanently visible widgets and notifications to the range for the first time – a long-awaited flagship feature for Android. In addition, the status bar on the Pro models will also have a full-width battery display, thanks to the small space taken up by the new pill-shaped punch hole display. This was last seen on the iPhone 8.

09/06 Update: progress around the ‘iPhone 14 Plus’ brand is developing after the occasional leaker Majin Bu was published deal pictures na iPhone 14 times same to you screen protectors with “99% confidence” of official colors and Plus brands.

These are reinforced by the additional volume of the iPhone 14 Pro from mother 1122, who put the case on the iPhone 13 Pro. The main feature is an increase of about 50% in the size of the rear camera of the iPhone 14 Pro: wide, ultra-wide and telephoto.

This comes from a jump from 12 to 48 megapixels and it has been rumored for a long time, but seeing this actually increases is eye-opening. Interestingly, despite the jump in megapixels, the case of the iPhone 14 Pro shows that the new phone will not be thicker – something that was hot in previous leaks. While this can be seen as a good thing, it also casts doubt on recent claims that Apple will adjust the main batteries in the range.

Yeux1122 also shot the case from the side, showing that the volume and mute buttons will be slightly higher. Apple often tweaks the position of these buttons from year to year. Another thing that cynics argue is a deliberate attempt to boost case sales.

As a result, telling iPhone owners that the iPhone 14 Max has less range than the iPhone 14 Pro, but the M1 Pro has less range than the M1 Max, would be confusing.

In contrast, the ‘Plus’ sign is simpler. It’s been tied for the biggest (but not necessarily the best) iPhone for four years, and the iPhone 8 Plus sat below the iPhone X when the pair launched in 2017 – which means it doesn’t hold the same position one like Max. Generally, it does not require the same exercise for buyers.

Interestingly, this last leak is part of a larger pattern with iPhone leaks in 2022, where spies are set up by small names, which change the story. With this in mind, Apple fans should be happy because the latest example of the iPhone 14 price claims will be cheaper than expected.
