It’s been a big month for Apple with the American tech giant launching new devices including the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. However, the American tech giant is not stopping there as the company plans to release another new smartphone later this week. During its “Far Out” event earlier this month, Apple showed off a new version of its popular iPhone 14 Plus.
This king-sized update replaces the smaller “Mini” phones that have now been phased out to give customers a bigger screen.
In fact, the new iPhone 14 Plus has a large display of 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with Apple promising that this screen will provide users with a bright, rich experience and a perfect experience.
Still, if you want a bigger display you’ll need to switch to the more expensive Pro Max model but that’s not the case.
With this great panel, there is another reason to consider buying the Plus version with Apple boasting that it features the longest battery life of any iPhone.

We’ll have to wait for a full review before this claim can be confirmed but it should mean the Plus model is good for up to two days without going near the charger.
Of course, like the new iPhone 14, the Plus gets many other features including the new Crash Detection that will automatically call emergency services after a car accident. Location information and any medical information will also be sent to health care providers.
Along with that life-saving upgrade, there is also an upgrade to the cameras with these new devices capable of taking better photos in low light and shooting silky smooth videos thanks to the new Action mode that stops the shaky film.
The front TrueDepth camera also gets autofocus for the first time and selfies are further enhanced thanks to improved light capabilities.
Although the iPhone 14 gets the same A15 Bionic processor as last year, things have improved thanks to the additional GPU core released which means faster graphics than before.
This device also gets all the usual features including MagSafe wireless charging, Face ID unlocking and Ceramic Sheild glass and now there is an option to send text even when there is no mobile signal thanks to the technology satellite.
If you’re interested in a larger iPhone and don’t want to pay the price of the Pro Max then the addition is definitely worth considering.
Available to order now with prices starting from £949. It lands in stores from October 7.
