LikeMyTrip (“LikeMyTrip”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by likemytrip.com By accessing or using this website and its services—including flight bookings, hotel reservations, tours, car rentals, and travel insurance—you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Flight Tickets
2.1 Applicability of Airline Terms & Conditions
All airline tickets booked via likemytrip.com are subject to the respective airline’s terms and conditions, including cancellation, change, and refund policies. LikeMyTrip does not modify or override airline rules.
2.2 Role of LikeMyTrip
LikeMyTrip acts solely as a facilitator and consolidator. The contract of carriage exists strictly between the User and the airline.
2.3 Airlines’ Rights
Airlines reserve the right to reschedule, reroute, change, or cancel flights or itineraries without prior notice to LikeMyTrip. LikeMyTrip is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from such changes. Airlines generally inform passengers directly.
2.4 Ticket Restrictions & Fares
Fare rules and restrictions may vary even within the same airline. Certain promotional or discounted fares are non-refundable or partially refundable. Users must review fare rules before booking. LikeMyTrip bears no liability for losses resulting from fare restrictions.
2.5 Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowances differ by airline and fare type. Some fares include only hand baggage, while checked baggage may attract additional charges. Users are responsible for verifying baggage entitlements with the airline.
2.6 Code Share Flights
Certain flights may be operated under code-share agreements. Such information is displayed during booking where provided by the airline.
2.7 Pricing & Payment
Displayed prices include base fare, applicable government taxes, and LikeMyTrip convenience fees. Full payment is required to confirm a booking. Taxes and statutory charges applicable on the date of travel shall apply.
Infant Fare Rules:
Infant must be under 24 months for the entire journey.
Infants turning 24 months on the return journey must be booked on a child fare.
Infants and children must be accompanied by an adult passenger.
2.8 Travel Documents
Users must carry valid travel documents including passport, visa, and government-issued ID. LikeMyTrip is not responsible for denial of boarding or entry due to invalid or missing documents. Passenger name on the ticket must match official documents.
2.9 Airline Check-In
Users must adhere to airline check-in timelines:
Domestic Flights: Airport check-in at least 2 hours prior; web check-in up to 48 hours before departure.
International Flights: Airport check-in at least 4 hours prior; web check-in up to 48 hours before departure.
Valid ID, passport, and age proof must be carried.
2.10 Use of Flight Segments
Failure to travel on an onward flight segment may result in automatic cancellation of subsequent or return segments by the airline. LikeMyTrip is not responsible for alternate arrangements beyond airline policies.
2.11 Booking Changes
Changes are subject to airline charges plus LikeMyTrip service fees. Users may request changes through LikeMyTrip or directly with the airline, as applicable.
2.12 Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted to LikeMyTrip at least 24 hours prior to departure.
Late cancellations must be handled directly with the airline and immediately informed to LikeMyTrip.
Refunds are processed as per airline rules and only after LikeMyTrip receives the refund from the airline.
LikeMyTrip convenience fees are non-refundable.
Refunds are credited to the original payment method.
Any discounts or promotional benefits availed will be adjusted against the refund for partially used tickets.
3. Hotel Bookings
LikeMyTrip acts only as a booking facilitator; the accommodation contract is between the User and the hotel/property.
Hotel bookings are subject to the property’s cancellation, amendment, and no-show policies.
Special requests (early check-in, late check-out, bed type, smoking preference) are subject to availability.
Users must provide accurate guest details and comply with hotel check-in requirements.
Additional expenses during the stay (minibar, damages, extra services) are payable directly to the hotel.
LikeMyTrip service/convenience fees are non-refundable.
Refunds, if applicable, are processed after confirmation from the hotel.
Additional Taxes and Local Charges:
Local taxes, tourism fees, city or municipal taxes, or resort fees (e.g., Dubai Tourism Dirham, European city taxes, Malaysia tourism tax) are not included in the booking price and must be paid directly at the property. Failure to pay may result in denial of check-in or penalties.
4. Tour Bookings
Tours and activities are provided by third-party vendors.
LikeMyTrip does not operate or control tour services.
Tour inclusions, exclusions, restrictions, and vendor cancellation policies apply.
LikeMyTrip is not liable for delays, operational issues, injuries, or losses caused by vendors.
6. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is optional and provided through third-party insurers.
Insurance contracts are solely between the User and the insurer.
Users must review policy terms, coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.
All insurance-related claims and communications must be handled directly with the insurer.
7. Data Privacy & Use of Information
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Indian laws and LikeMyTrip’s Privacy Policy.
Data is used for bookings, customer support, marketing (with consent), and legal compliance.
Information may be shared with service providers only to fulfill bookings.
Reasonable security measures are implemented, though complete online security cannot be guaranteed.
Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their account credentials.
8. Legal Clauses
8.1 Limitation of Liability
LikeMyTrip acts as an intermediary and is not liable for acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, vendors, or insurers.
8.2 Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless LikeMyTrip, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims or losses arising from breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
8.3 Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property belong to Travstay Travel Services Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8.4 Amendments & Severability
LikeMyTrip reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms. If any provision is held invalid, remaining provisions shall remain enforceable.
